The African Women's Health Network Radio (AWHNR) is a multimedia platform that streams online YouTube videos and podcasts. The station was established on August 23, 2015, and is headquartered in the United States of America. It primarily focuses on promoting health and wellness among African women by featuring expert opinions, interviews, and discussions on various topics such as nutrition, fitness, mental health, and reproductive health.
1. The primary purpose of the AWHNR is to attempt to globally link skilled health programs and services into the rural environment.

AWHNR is affiliated with The African Women's Health Network (AWHN), a non-profit charitable organization (NGO) headquartered at Navrongo in the Upper East Region of Ghana, which seeks to solicit, receive and manage contributions. AWHN was formed in the latter part of 2013 but has since not operated due to a lack of funds and resources. The primary purpose of AWHN NGO is to promote skilled delivery at birth in the rural environments, support family planning services, and ensure women's economic empowerment, as well as, safeguard maternal and child health services and help uphold fundamental human values, such as, diversity and tolerance in the rural areas. AWHN seeks the financial support, business experience and expertise of the public and private sectors to improve and/or save lives and to ensure that women are equipped with the requisite knowledge, skills and resources to compete on the global playing field of higher education and the world of work.
